I stumbled across, or perhaps it was staggered as I had just polished off my afternoon aperitivo, L’una e L’Altra boutique on the Via del Governo Vecchio. It is the equivillent of fashion air con in Italys boiling love of polyster, sun blinding bling and blistering espadrille wedges. In a country obsessed by Gucci and Donatella Versace it was a breath of fresh air to find brands such as Martin Margiela, Rick Owens and Issey Miyake's A-Poc and Pleats Please collections stocked. A very happy accident. They have a website but it doesn't seem to work... www.nowinrome.com
