Everyone knows that deep down I have a bit of an 'Essex gerl' in me, how this has manifested in a girl from Glasgow is a mystery, perhaps it's our cultures shared love of vajazzle grazing skirt lengths and white high heels. While watching The Only Way is Essex on Wednesday I couldn't help but notice Lydia wearing an Aqua Couture dress, ever the Queen of ASOS I am. I love Lydia's approach to clothes, she tries so hard not to dress like a stereotypical Essex girl and gives us something else to concentrate on rather than massive orange boobs and lots of sewn on crystals. Her dress is by Aqua Couture and is available on ASOS.

I love all the new clean trends, white tailorings, linear colour blocking, the new modernity but I can't help my biological genetic make up. I'm a scruffy cow.

Scruff-chic by the Olsen's. I could never get sick of these girls.
Over sized cape coat, pencil skirt and baggy jumper, I love the fluidity of the outfit. Powder blue and sunflower yellow.My absolute favourite... leather and texture coat, head to toe back and beaten up chelsea boots. (This is actually an average small bottle of Evian we can see MK clutching in her paw just to give you a ratio to ratio idea of how tiny these girls are. I am not ashamed to admit how much I love The Only Way is Essex. It is my inspiration when I can't be bothered to paint my nails or make an excuse not to wear heels in the day time. Would these girls? No, so I certainly won't! So they don't get invited to London Fashion Week, so what, they'll just make up their own. Shut up!

A C N E

Usually my DIY's have horrendous effects or disappointing results or, like most things I try and make, it gets left unfinished. However you can't really half dye your hair and then leave it, unless your going for a Cruella Deville crop, so this creative commitment had to be seen through, it was the ombre-fying of my hair.

I'm not ready for Meadham Kirchhoff colour spectrum locks. Plus I do not want people to think I roll round Dalston in ripped clothes and take legal highs. Edgy but well groomed, intelligent but light hearted. Or just generall scruffy which I seem to pull off effortlessly.

I like the end results which makes a change from my 'projects'. What's next, cutting my own hair?*
