WHITE TIGERS DO NOT EXIST!

A subject I've been banging on about for a while is white tigers. They can only be genetically created through severe insest. Only one case has ever been found in the wild and all other white tigers in existance have been bred in captivity with alarming results. They are bred purely for the entertainment industry and zoo's. Because of the genetic gene pool many are born mentally and psyically disabled and are kept away from the public in apauling conditions. Please read more here

there have also been a number of cases in the news about people being kept in captivity. Being locked up for years without natural light affects the skin colour. the same way the scrambled genes in the tigers drain their coats of their natural colour. Thus me looking at loss of colour.

I'm currently working on developing these ideas into a project.

Rue Saint-Honoré in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, taken in Feburary of this year. Awesome shop front for some refurbishment.

Flash (Where's my fucking drink?)

Ages ago! Vincent doing a shoot in the living room in my old flat. Megan rising to the challenging role of 'demanding model' so well. I love these two. Also the moments of flash looks cool on film. It's a single moment like a camera exposure but on film.

Dryden Goodwin

Nice stuff. Really loved Shapeshifter. Almost 700 tiny sketches of passengers on a train. Beautiful style and sensitive marks. Makes me realise I must draw more, I can't remember the last time I sketched anything!

The video is an animation of all the sketches compiled together. I just thought it was really beautiful.

The New Look ones were pretty but you get what you pay for. They were painful and difficult to walk in. I loved the Faith boots, couldn't decide which colour though.

But these are my favourites! Patricia Field for M&S at £69. Christmas present I hope. Two ladies in the shop told me that they looked good on me, bless!

Bit late to be posting all this I know but I've only just taken the photos off my phone. Xerity show, not very exciting but I like the texture on this dress. Reminds me of the jacket SJP wears in SATC movie when she visits the hospital. The Cloth Shop in Soho have a similar type of textured fabric, very light, in lots of colours. Might nab a swatch!


This gent was sat in front of me. Check out the Swarovski crystals stuck on his head in the shape of hair, side burns and everything! Dressed in his white dinner jacket and tails, I loved it! Wish I'd got a better shot.

Mulberry Party

Silvana and I went to the Mulberry party at Punk on Tuesday night. Hitting the free bar so hard may have been a mistake. This is the only footage that could be salvaged from that messy night. I wore my new winter coat which deserves a post all to its self.

Speaking of Paul and Joe. Their sample sale is on this week at the Truman Brewery off Brick Lane. Apparently they will also be selling Nicole Farhi.

If the French don't do it for you Marhishi are having their sample sale round the corner. Sick Peg Leg NYC New Era's for 20 quid.

Magic Powers

One of my clients came in the other day after having not seen her in a while. She works for french designer Paul and Joe and I couldn't help but fess my love for their new winter coats and in particular the grey hooded cape. It turns out a friends and family discount may be on the cards but no promises. Thank god since this grey sheet of felt would set you back over half a grand.

No pictures to be found apart from Miss Lowe rocking it in the London Paper last week. Boom!

socks and sandals

S'gettin chilly and I've noticed a few girls wearing their sandals over tights or thigh high socks. I like the idea but I'm not 100% convinced, especially as it has been raining all week. I'm keeping it to try on those dry days, until then I need something a bit more durable like my fleece lined hi-tops.
